Health and Beauty Boosting Water! How to Cold Brew Healthful Herbal Waters at Home!

Want a boost to your daily water intake? How about Cold Brewing your own herbal water? I drink this throughout the day! It tastes so good, and is the perfect drink for a hot day. ☀️🥤 It's very easy to make, and one batch can be replenished several times!

The Magick Ingredients

Valerian root has traditionally been used as a sleep aid and anxiety reducer. Research suggests it may help improve sleep quality, reduce the time it takes to fall asleep, and ease nervous tension. It appears to work by increasing levels of GABA in the brain, promoting relaxation.

Damiana has historically been used as a mood enhancer and natural aphrodisiac. Some people report it helps reduce anxiety, boost energy levels, and improve overall wellbeing. It's also been traditionally used to support digestive health.

Passionflower shows promise for reducing anxiety and improving sleep quality. Studies indicate it may help with insomnia, nervous restlessness, and general anxiety. Like valerian, it appears to work on GABA pathways in the brain to promote calmness.

Apple cider vinegar has several potential benefits, including helping to regulate blood sugar levels, supporting weight management when combined with diet and exercise, and potentially improving digestion. Some people report it helps with acid reflux and acts as a mild appetite suppressant. It contains beneficial compounds like acetic acid and may help promote healthy gut bacteria.

What You'll Need

  • XL Mason Jar
  • Tea Bags (I use natural fiber disposables)
  • No Calorie Flavor Packet of Your Choice!

This recipe is for a batch of tea. I use a large coffee or mason jar. Once brewed, you can refill the water up to 3 times! I get about 5 or 6 uses out of this using a 44oz cup.

Making the Tea

  1. Add 3 tablespoons of Passion Flower to a tea bag
  2. Add 2 tablespoons Valerian blended with Damiana to a tea bag
  3. Add to Jar and fill to top with cold water
  4. Let brew in fridge or on counter for at least 3 hours (The longer you brew, the stronger it will be)

Creating Your Perfect Drink

  1. Add 1 part tea and 2 parts water to a large cup or jar
  2. Add one or two no calorie water flavors, depending on cup size (I use Wylers strawberry lemonade)
  3. Mix well and then add 1 tablespoon of ACV
  4. Add lots of ice and that's it! This is my absolute favorite beverage to sip on!

Be Blessed,

Rewriting the Dark: Hekate in the Age of Comfort | From Blood to Bouquets: Hekate's Image in Modern Witchcraft

Recently, I mentioned a Facebook group post I had come across in which a young “witch” was expressing her concern for her friend using naughty baneful Magick. And so, naturally, she needed to know how to tattle-tale to the great Hekate, in hopes this peaceful Deity would punish her for her wicked ways. Come the fuck on. There are many Gods and Goddesses who are systematically being transformed into fluff bunnies. However, poor Hekate seems to be the most utilized victim of this injustice. And she is taking a huge hit in the reputation department to pander to this new wave of “baby witches” who seem to need weighted blankets and someone to hold their hand to simply wake up in the morning. Hekate is not a nature Goddess of safe darkness and theatrical dark romance. The true history of Hekate is far from the sanitized, benevolent image presented by many in contemporary spiritual circles. She was not a gentle guide or maternal protector, but a formidable and feared deity associated...

The Wicked and Weird History of the Apple 🍎 31 Days of Halloween History

Throughout October I will be sharing a daily post that highlights the real history of Halloween/Samhain. These will correlate with my short videos I am posting across my social media accounts. Its history with the holiday is a winding path from ancient fertility rites to a symbol of modern parental paranoia, embodying both wholesome tradition and chilling urban legend. The apple's journey through Halloween's lore is a fascinating glimpse into how cultural fears and customs evolve, transforming a simple fruit into a repository of our deepest anxieties. The apple's initial connection to this autumnal celebration is rooted in ancient traditions. It entwined ...
