This is BOO SHEET! The history of the white sheet Ghost costume.

Throughout October I will be sharing a daily post that highlights the real history of Halloween/Samhain. These will correlate with my short videos I am posting across my social media accounts. You can follow me on  Youtube,   Instagram , and  Facebook  to view them! The image of a simple white sheet draped over a figure is perhaps the most universally recognizable, yet historically rich, costume in the Halloween canon. This practice of covering oneself to appear as a spirit is arguably the oldest Halloween custom we have, rooted not in fanciful decoration, but in the serious business of spiritual survival and medieval charity. The history begins with the ancient Celts celebrating Samhain (SOW-in). On the night the veil between the worlds thinned, the landscape was believed to be filled with roaming, often malevolent, spirits and fairies. If a person ventured out after dark, they were compelled to wear a disguise, often made from crude materials like fearsome m...

Social Distancing from Idiocracy

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get to witness the Rapture of those committed to Christ. I had full plans to stay behind and care for any animals who were left without owners. I spent too much time scrolling social media and watching some of the “rapture prep” content. There was an alarming number of people who prepared their homes and campers for us lowly, unsaved humans who might need them after they've gone to Jesus. And several who left detailed instructions on the care of their animals, as many Christians don't believe they have savable souls. I'm constantly startled and amazed by how embarrassing we are as a species. The Bible says we won't know when the end times will happen, and it describes separation, war, famine, and natural disasters—all of which have been happening since we graced the earth with our destructive existence. Of course, I do believe there will be an end. There would have to be, as the world i...

As the World Burns: Now is the time to cut many ties.

I looked up at the sky this morning to see a crescent moon aligned with Venus. The universe often reminds us that there is something out there so much bigger than us.  There's a lot of dark things happening in the world. Many people are suggesting the end of times, but I don't think that's what this is. Every part of my conscious and spiritual self is telling me something big is about to happen. A rebirth, a cleansing in each of our lives that will allow us to emerge on the other side plentiful and blessed. If you have been feeling a heavy weight, it should lift soon. And we do not need a palm reader to tell us that. I have personally been weighed down by a lack of spiritual ambition that I usually have. I have admittedly let my gifts sit unopened while I focus on the energy that is pulling me into a darkness that is not meant for me. The general plane I exist in is already a deep and dark path by my own choosing. I perform, prophesize, and manifest much better amongst th...

The Satanic Temple is doing GOOD WORK for Communities across America

Statue of Baphomet at the Salem Location When the Satanic Temple is mentioned, the typical reaction is often one of disdain, confusion, or simply a lack of awareness that such an organization exists. And, of course, in today's climate where everything is "the work of the devil," it tends to be an ill-received topic, depending on who you talk to. I have always had a particular fondness for Satanists. Over the years, if I were to be stuck in a room with a Wiccan, a Heathen, and a kitchen witch, I'm going to leave and go find a Satanist. For the most part, they tend to be some of the most docile and genuinely thoughtful people I have ever met. Perhaps some of this stems from the frequent assumption that I am a Satanist myself. I'm not, by the way. As with everything, I collect information and knowledge that I apply to my own practical occult knowledge. And there's a lot of rich history and valuable information to be found within all belief systems, with Satani...

May 2025 Full Moon is The Flower Moon, and it is MORE IMPORTANT Than You Think!

The May Full Moon , traditionally known as the Flower Moon, illuminates the spring sky when nature bursts forth in full bloom. This celestial event has deep roots in various cultural and spiritual traditions, particularly among Native American tribes who used the moon's cycles to track seasonal changes. The Algonquin tribes of North America first named it the Flower Moon, observing how this lunar phase coincided with the peak blooming period of spring wildflowers. Similar seasonal names appear in Old English and European traditions, and other Native American tribes referred to it as the Planting Moon or Milk Moon, as it marked the time when the earth became fertile enough for sustained planting and when wild herbs reached their full potency. In 2025, the Flower Moon appears in Libra then graces us in Scorpio, creating a powerful opposition to the Taurus Sun. This placement amplifies themes of transformation, emotional depth, and material security. Scorpio's intense waters comb...
