Ruth Miller: Faith, Fear, and Filicide - A Critical Look at End of Times Fear Mongering

" Now the LORD provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights. " " Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from inside the fish. He said, "I cried out to the LORD in my great trouble, and he answered me. I called to you from the land of the dead, and LORD, you heard me! " On August 23rd, 2025, a Mennonite woman named Ruth Miller drowned her four-year-old son in Atwood Lake during a weekend getaway for her birthday. Her husband, Marcus Miller, is said to have walked into the same lake to meet the same fate. Ruth attempted to drown all of her children, a 15-year-old daughter and 18-year-old twin boys, by driving a golf cart into the water with them aboard. However, the stronger children were able to survive. When Ruth was confronted, as seen on body cam footage from Law and Crime Network, she reassured the police that God loves them and that God loves us all. Why do I grow Deadly Nightshade? Reflections of a Belladonna keeper.

Bathsheba, the Belladonna   I recently found myself in a conversation about why I keep Atropa Belladonna (Deadly Nightshade) in my garden. There is an article on the basics of this fascinating plant somewhere, but I don't think I have ever really discussed that aspect of my interest in Nightshades or my stance on its uses. Firstly, the Belladonna is indeed a highly toxic plant. It absolutely can be deadly, especially to pets and small children, which is why I do not recommend adding them to most gardeners' collections. But there is a place for these infamous beauties in the world. Its "deadly" tropane alkaloids are used today to dilate pupils during eye exams—did you know that? This practice was actually very popular in the 16th century, when women would add it to their eyeballs to create a seductive, dilated look. Apparently, that was all the rage. And aside from being used as a poison and psychedelic throughout history, it was also used to treat a lot of common ail...

RITUAL: A Blood Moon is Coming: A great time for drawing power, curses, hexes, and other Baneful practices.

This article contains a blood ritual.    Each month, we are blessed with the return of a full moon. Each with its own properties, backstories, and value. While I like to utilize the moon's affects most months, typically for simple tasks like recharging items or for specific hexes or curses, the most important moon (for me) is the Blood Moon. And no, it isn’t because of its edgy and ominous name, although that does make it much more intriguing. I typically save my larger ritualistic spells, curses, or targeted harassments for this particular moon. And, not just the actual eve of the moon but the week surrounding it. With that being said, a blood moon is not a set and titled affair, like the named moons of each month. Instead, it is a phenomenon in which a total lunar eclipse occurs. And, through the marvels of the universe, during this event blue light is filtered out (thanks to the Earth’s atmosphere), creating a blood-red, sometimes orange-tinged, full moon. This occur...
